A long project came to an end, when our book “Iceland – land of contrasts” was launched last week in Hungary (published by National Geographic Hungary). The book was presented in two places: in Budapest on Friday, and in Baja on Saturday.
The Budapest book launch was visited by a great number of media representatives, and the writer of the book, Unnur Jökulsdóttir, was also present. It was lovely to meet Unnur and her husband, Árni Einarsson, again, this time in Hungary. We and Tamás Vitray jr., the moderator of the event, were mainly talking about how this project arose and stories behind the images.
The book launch in Baja, on the other hand, was an event where mainly family and friends attended, close to 300 of them, so we almost managed to fill the theatre hall in Baja:) We truly appreciated that so many of you joined us at this event! István Szigeti presented us to the audience, and we were talking about the Iceland project with Matild Jászberényi on the stage. Matild, who is a visual art teacher and textile artist, was adding great thoughts to our project – thank you Matild, for your contribution!
We have presented our new multimedia show at both events, with a music written specially to our Iceland images by Csaba Kalotás.
The newly published Hungarian and English editions of the book will be distributed only in Hungary. If you would like to buy an English copy, later on we will make it possible to order it through our website: http://www.haarbergphoto.com/books

Since 2005, we have travelled together as a team, constantly being on the move to capture those memorable experiences in nature, with our cameras in our hands. Our projects capture different parts of the "Cap of the North", in a never-ending search for eye-catching scenes, and the magic light that is so characteristic of this region. It is the desire to get back to our roots – to live with nature that inspires us to create the images that we do.
